Dana White’s latest efforts to promote his Power Slap business, valued between $750 million and $1 billion, have sparked controversy, with outspoken YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul being among the most vocal critics. White has been heavily pushing the brand, even integrating it into his daily operations. During an appearance on The Pete and Sebastian Show, White spoke about the venture, “It’s a $750 million business, so yeah. I even got Power Slap cups.”
While White’s commitment to Power Slap is evident, it has drawn criticism, particularly from Jake Paul, who took to X to express his disapproval. Paul posted, “55 yrs old, wheeling around 20-year-old OnlyFans girls to try and get views? Clout chasing & ego has no age limit. Imagine being worth $500M, married with kids, & posting these cringe videos, using UFC accounts to get people to watch your slap party online.”

Jake Paul and Dana White have been at odds for years, with neither hesitating to take jabs at the other whenever the opportunity arises. Their feud has a rich history, beginning with White throwing shade at Paul during an appearance on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin Podcast. Paul, who has quickly risen to prominence as one of boxing’s most polarizing figures, recently added a significant feather to his cap by defeating boxing legend Mike Tyson.
However, his transition into professional boxing and matchups against MMA fighters became a major sticking point for Dana White. The UFC president first expressed his disapproval when Paul announced a fight against former UFC fighter Ben Askren. White publicly criticized the matchup, going as far as saying he expected Askren to “wipe the floor” with Paul. This triggered a heated back-and-forth between the two on social media, with Paul clapping back in his trademark style.
One of the major flashpoints in their feud has been Paul’s outspoken criticism of UFC fighter pay. Paul has frequently called out White for the promotion’s treatment of its athletes, further fueling their rivalry.

Jake Paul questions Dana White on the issue of fighter pay in the UFC
Fighter pay has long been a contentious issue in the UFC, drawing criticism from both fighters and industry observers. Recently, former middleweight champion Sean Strickland spoke about the pay structure and treatment of lower-tier fighters. Speaking to Joe Rogan, Strickland highlighted the disparity and said, “They’re [UFC] signing guys at 10k and 10k. 10k and 10k on four fights, man. After three fights, you get cut. So they sign these Brazilians, these Dagestanis. They go home with their 20k, and they’re living life good.”
Joining the same brigade, Jake Paul also aimed UFC fighter pay, making his stance clear on Dana White’s business practices. ‘The Problem Child’ added, “I don’t hate him [Dana White]. I just want him to pay fighters more. You know, now that the company is making billions of dollars a year, and the fighters are only getting 15% of it.”

The debate around fighter pay even contributed to the UFC losing one of its biggest stars, Francis Ngannou, who left the promotion citing dissatisfaction with his compensation. In turn, White has not shied away from responding to critics, particularly Paul. After Paul fought and defeated Nate Diaz, White had mixed reactions. Speaking on The Jim Rome Show, White called out Paul’s choice of opponents and said, “Listen, Jake Paul went out and fought a real boxer who was his age, his weight, and he lost. So as soon as he loses, he goes back to a 40-year-old MMA fighter who’s smaller than him [and] not his weight.”
Despite his harsh critique, White also made it clear that he doesn’t hate Paul, even congratulating him on his victory against Diaz. Now, with Paul’s latest jab at White, fans are left wondering: Will the UFC president respond, or will he choose to ignore the provocations this time? Let us know in the comments below!
