Conor McGregor is undoubtedly the biggest star ever created by the UFC. The Irishman had always been the show-stopper of the night for the UFC. There is no other fighter who has featured in such a huge number of main events in such a short span.

McGregor is also an avid social media user. Most recently, McGregor tweeted a video of his pre-fight introduction on Twitter. He captioned it as “How I feel acting.”

What did the fans say about Conor McGregor’s tweet?

This tweet from ‘Mystic Mac’ received numerous replies and retweets from his fans. A majority of the fans liked it despite the fact that everybody wasn’t necessarily impressed by it.

McGregor’s Tweet also received a reply from the noted ‘Pink Suit Guy’, Josh Cohen, who is known for his fearless questioning at the UFC press conferences.

Cohen replied to McGregor’s Tweet from his official Twitter handle, ‘@Joshonair’ as he wrote, “I’ve said it on the air since 2014, and I’ll say it again here: You were born to be a movie bad guy. The super-villain. The James Bond villain. And I’ll bet anyone anything that you’re going to absolutely own this film.” His observational reply was definitely related to reality.

A fan named ‘Joshua’ replied, “Love him or hate him, attending a McGregor Event is an experience!”

Another follower named, ‘California Punk’ replied, “Love ya man but you are f**kin done. Some killer out there is refining his skills at a more dedicated rate than you. If you even care.” He clearly was of the opinion that despite being appreciable, McGregor was done and there were better ones in this game right now.

One of the fans named ‘jon’ had a funny reply. He wrote, “They say he’s toast, but he’s the bread.” 

He also received a reply to his comment from ‘KeithCoin’, who wrote, “The bread expired 6 years ago bro, throw it out.” They both seem to be of the idea that Conor is already past his prime.

There will always be varied opinions about whether McGregor will make his return to the octagon or not. But it will be a huge delight to the fans to see him back in his natural habitat.
