Gane really proved his mettle in this fight with his outstanding movement and speed inside the Octagon. Rozenstruik was totally nullified in the main event and couldn’t use his biggest strength, i.e. his punching power.
However, one might argue that Rozenstruik’s own decision-making let him down more than anything else. He hesitated to put pressure on Gane and test his defense, which ultimately led to him losing the fight.
‘Bigi Boy’ should have applied more pressure on his opponent to unsettle and unbalance him. In retrospect, this may have given him some room to tee off and test ‘Bon Gamin’s’ chin.

Rozenstruik was no.4 in the rankings coming into this fight. Considering how crowded the top half of the heavyweight division is, it is expected he will lose his spot. So, he needs to get back on the horse as soon as possible to rekindle himself in the division.
Curtis Blaydes is coming off a loss against Derrick Lewis, and the UFC can very well match those two up. However, it will be a test of Rozenstruik’s wrestling. But much like Lewis, ‘Bigi Boy’ has that one-shot equalizer in the store too.

Unfortunately, he didn’t use it against Gane. However, he could take a page out of ‘The Black Beast’s’ book if he were booked against ‘Razor’ who would not have such swift movement.
