Where is Jairzinho Rozenstruik from? All about his ethnicity and nationality
Jairzinho Rozenstruik was born in Paramaribo, Suriname. Suriname or the Republic of Suriname is a country which is located on the Northeastern Atlantic coast of South America and has a population of around 575,000. The Suriname population mainly focuses on the features of African, Asian, and European diversity. Although, the exact details of his ethnicity are, not known yet. It is believed that ‘ Bigi Boy’ is of Afro-Surinamese descent. Rozenstruik is the first Surinamese Mixed Martial Arts fighter to compete in the UFC.

‘BigiBoy’s initially focused on soccer, however, when a group of boys beat him up brutally, Rozenstruik decided to make sure that, he never gets bullied ever again. The Afro-Surinamese fighter started his martial arts journey with kickboxing under the tutelage of Michael Babb, a coach from the Vos Gym in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Babb taught everything to him and ‘Bigi Boy’ never disappointed him.

While having a conversation with ESPN, Rozenstruik highlighted, “Dutch is our first language,” he said. “When you talk to older people, you speak Dutch. It’s more respectful.
