He waved his hands displaying the digits 3 and one with fingers on each hand to show how Pereira leads the scoreline despite the loss. However, fans have now reacted, and it appears all they care about is the most recent performance and not the past.
Fans back Adesanya as the better fighter
Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira started with kickboxing. They fought twice in Glory kickboxing, leaving the score line at 2-0. When Alex Pereira came to the UFC as a challenger against the highflying Kiwi fighter, it was being assumed to be the fight where Adesanya will settle past records. Adesanya came close to winning at UFC 281, and Alex Pereira was on the brink of being knocked out until the tables turned. Fans have now reacted to Pereira’s coach’s gesture. Alex Pereira Vs Israel Adesanya may remain an undecided rivalry
Immediately after UFC 287, talks about a rematch were in the air. Israel Adesanya stopped all allegations when he said that it settled the score for him and that he was not looking to give Pereira a Trilogy fight. UFC president Dana White too hinted that Pereira may move to the 205lbs division and the chances of a trilogy fight were bleak.
