Darren Till will fight Marvin Vettori next month in a crucial middleweight contest. Middleweight kingpin, Israel Adesanya, identified recently ‘The Gorilla’ as a potential next challenger for his throne. A matchup between the two striking wizards will be a great spectacle for the fans.
However, Till doesn’t want to look that far ahead just now. Currently, he is solely focused on Vettori currently as ‘The Italian Dream’ a very dangerous contender in his own right. It’s a clash between two of Europe’s finest and could be decisive in the current title picture of the 185 lbs division.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani recently, ‘The Gorilla’ weighed in on his next fight with Vettori. “I think me and Marvin are knocking on the door, It’s like a little mini-middleweight competition right now, the same as lightweight, so it definitely excites me. To just be at the top and to be getting these chances and knowing what’s next and all that – but I’ve got a steamroller in front of me, and I don’t want to look too far ahead,” said Till.
Till and Adesanya have traded words about possibly fighting each other from even before the former’s move to the middleweight division of the UFC. So, the former welterweight title contender feels like the two of them eventually fighting is kind of destined to happen.
“I know Izzy’s calling me out, practically, and stuff like that. I’ve called him out for a long time. We were destined to fight even when I was a welterweight. He called me out then when I was at the top of welterweight,” said Till.

Will the winner of Darren Till vs Marvin Vettori get the next title shot?
‘Stylebender‘ has identified ‘The Gorilla‘ as the most interesting option for him to fight next. But, even if Till wins, it’s unlikely for him to challenge for the belt next. Robert Whittaker and Paulo Costa are set to clash a week after Till’s fight. Should ‘The Reaper‘ win, he might get the next shot, as the former champion has already defeated Till in 2020.

Nevertheless, Till will put himself in a great position with a triumph over Vettori. However, it won’t be a cakewalk as ‘The Italian Dream‘ put on a very impressive performance against Jack Hermansson in his last fight. So, the Liverpool native, Till, needs to be at his best to get a win over his opponent.
