Calling fights as an analyst can sometimes be a thankless job—just ask Michael Bisping. The former middleweight champion has faced relentless heat from MMA fans, frequently slammed for what many perceive as “biased” commentary. From the Justin Gaethje debacle to questionable takes during Israel Adesanya’s bouts, Bisping has stacked up a series of blunders. Now, it seems the MMA community has finally reached its breaking point.

During the Josh Emmett vs. Lerone Murphy fight at UFC Vegas 105, the MMA community witnessed a rather biased side of Michael Bisping when he was making comments about the Briton. Well, Murphy did win the fight and kept his record intact; however, the way he won is controversial. Why? Well, that’s due to the fact that some fans thought the British fighter not only tried to keep his distance from Emmett but also ran from him, leading to them calling him out.

But according to Michael Bisping, Lerone Murphy did remarkably well to keep his winning streak intact, and this statement by the former middleweight champion irked the MMA community, who had other thoughts. And this isn’t the first time that Michael Bisping has been called for his ‘biased commentary’.

At UFC 286, Justin Gaethje called out Michael Bisping for what he perceived as biased commentary in favor of British fighters. According to “The Highlight,” Bisping tends to show favoritism when calling fights involving his fellow countrymen: “I thought (Usman) won the fight. But I’m probably as biased as the judges. (I’m) certainly not as biased as Michael Bisping. He shouldn’t have been anywhere near a microphone during that fight. Yeah, it s*cks.”

Responding to Gaethje, Michael Bisping emphasized that ‘The Highlight’ was just being loyal to Kamaru Usman as they both train together under Trevor Wittman. But in reality, Leon Edwards outclassed him according to the count, who said, “So Justin firmly believes in his head that Kamaru won that fight. And because I said on the microphone afterwards, ‘Well, Leon clearly won that fight,’ which I thought that he did in a close fight. All the rounds were close. Leon didn’t smoke him in any of the rounds, but I thought generally Kamaru might’ve had one or two rounds.”

Their beef was settled back then; however, fans have come forward once again, suggesting that Justin Gaethje might have had a point when he claimed that Michael Bisping is biased toward his fellow countrymen. Let’s have a look at what the fans have to say about the former middleweight fighter’s commentary.

Fans rip apart Michael Bisping for biased commentary at UFC Vegas 105

Josh Emmett landed 41 significant strikes in comparison to the 84 thrown by Lerone Murphy. According to the fans, Bisping called all of the punches by the Briton but failed to count when it came to Emmett: “Most biased for sure. Just ignoring all the punches emmet landing.” Furthermore, another fan added, “Always was. Glad you figured that out.”

As of now, the promotion has Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier, Jon Anik, Laura Sanko, Michael Bisping, Paul Felder, and other veterans on its commentary team. However, fans are frustrated about why the UFC isn’t adding more variety or making improvements: “Idk why UFC refuses to get new commentators it’s so annoying.”

Another furious fan even emphasized, “That’s why I’ve been watching ufc without commentary, all of them are biased.” Taking the red pill,  a curious fan asserted, “I love him, he’s one of my favourite analysts, but his performance tonight was appalling. I’ll just say he had a shocker and hope he does better next time.”
