The Joe Rogan Experience may just be a turn-off for you or your partner. That’s right, the popular do-anything, say-anything podcast with Rogan at the center was the topic of a widespread survey. The incredible results showed how women in the age group of 18-34 felt about their partners watching the podcast.

Joe Rogan started the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2009. Since then, the casual conversational style with big names has given it immense viewership. The biggest of names talk about the silliest of things in the smallest of rooms. This is Rogan’s brand.

A Bay Area-based firm surveyed over a thousand people to know about their preferences in politics, economics, dating, etc. Here, 55% of women revealed that they considered a Joe Rogan podcast-watching partner to be a red flag. The fans didn’t seem too happy with the results as they flooded the comment section with a barrage of backlash.

There was just about no support for these women in the comments. The rule seemed simple, if you don’t like Rogan, you’re out of the window. The podcast has reached new heights and gained a cult following. Everyone from UFC stars to Hollywood celebrities watch and appear on the famous podcast and the pop culture is just too strong with this one.

  • “I don’t care. Train by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night, all day.”
  • “It’s Rogan’s fault I’m single wtf Joe”
  • She doesn’t support you and your interests? Now that’s a turnoff”
  • “It’s okay, their terrible taste in reality TV is the same for us.”
  • “Turn off if they DON’T listen to joe Rogan”
  • “I guarantee bout 80% don’t even know why”
  • My wife sometimes listens with me and asks if he’s commented on topical stuff she’s interested in”
  • Too bad we dont give a fu*k”
  • “The people that answer random surveys are usually a little crazy anyway.”

Hardcore fans have seen episodes with Elon Musk and Quentin Tarantino way before some of those were translated into memes. A lot of people suspect that modern meme culture is what threw the show way higher up than it would have been without it. After all, who doesn’t love a celebrity letting loose on an easy-going podcast with an easy-going host?

The Joe Rogan Experience is too big to be torn down

A 55% majority doesn’t seem like much and it feels all the more unimportant when compared to the Rogan fanbase. Recently, TIME magazine released an estimate that put the UFC caster’s views at around 11 million per episode. Now that’s a whole lot of fans to argue against.

Additionally, the survey also revealed that 53% of women felt that their partner’s refusal to watch the recent Barbie movie was a turnoff. Looks like individual interests always take preference when it comes to entertainment. The question that remains is, are you willing to lose your potential partner to continue listening to your favorite podcaster? Joe Rogan would surely have things to say.
