The former champion recently posted a video on his YouTube channel and mentioned that his mindset has changed since his last fight against ‘Poatan’. He said, “I am hunting. I mean that in every sense of the word.” Adesanya added. “The mindset’s different though. It’s different definitely. I mean Eugene [his coach] and I are on the same page. The mindset is definitely different.”
He also mentioned that UFC 287 was his last shot at defeating the toughest opponent in his MMA career so far. “I like it [getting back at Pereira] because it puts it all on me, and it’s kind of poetic in a way…This is my last shot and I am going to give all I’ve got in every sense of the word.”

But it is a different ball game when competing in the UFC. Smith added, “When you get into the UFC and there’s the fight week (which) starts on Tuesday. You gotta fly in and you sign the posters and sign all your paperwork… It’s a huge production.” He mentions that it isn’t such a big issue. Smith said, “It’s not really that big of a deal. We do the same sh*t every single day in practice. I think by Izzy putting pressure on this (fight)… he’s building that even bigger.”
