Joe Rogan addresses Islam Makhchev’s IV accusations
Joe Rogan’s guest asked him about the problem of using IV during fights. He said, “It’s illegal.” He mentioned that it wasn’t within the books to use IV after weigh-ins. Rogan added, “He cut so much weight to make 155, you’re not allowed to use an IV. ” He then proceeded to explain that IV liquids can hide the use of performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Rogan said, “Yeah, it’s illegal. It’s part of USADA because you could mask PEDs with an IV.” He added, “So if you take certain PEDs you can flush your system out with IV and take a pi*s test, it won’t show up.”
