Joe Rogan is nothing less than a library when it comes to combat sports. However, combat sports are not the only category in which the beloved color commentator excels. His skills with a cue stick not only won him praise from the sporting community, but also got him two games against one of the most skillful pool players in the world. In the recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, Rogan revealed how he stood a chance against the pool prodigy, Fedor Gorst.

The UFC commentator invited the host of ‘Whiskey Ginger’ podcast, Andrew Santino, to episode #1924 of JRE. Although the fellow comedian touched on some topics about golf and how amazing it was to watch the professionals play, the duo couldn’t steer clear of the pool.

Rogan and Santino began the talks with several topics. However, it was pool that made the commentator puff out his chest in pride. While talking about professional players and their techniques, Rogan recalled that he once played pool with the Russian prodigy. He said, “We had this guy Fedor Gorst came in. Wait, how old is Fedor? 22, 23 years old. If not, the best pool player in the world, top three for sure. We came in here and we played him on that table. It was wild!”

Santino seemed curious as he asked whether Rogan stood a chance against Gorst. The podcaster proudly revealed that he, in fact, won the first couple of games. He said, “I won the first two games. Ran out the first game, and I won the second game. I got lucky. Well, he gave me a shot in the first game, like I think he broke and didn’t have a shot on the object ball and he pushed out and ran out.”
