Ronda Rousey has entered back into discussions with talks about her return to the UFC. With UFC’s multi-million dollar merger with WWE, things might even be easier for her. However, the professionals seem to have a different take on her return after six whole years.
While the UFC play-by-play commentator, Jon Anik, didn’t like the idea of Rousey’s comeback, Joanna Jedrzejczyk had a difference of opinion. In an interview with Dave Schmulenson, the former UFC Women’s strawweight champion declared that not only can ‘Rowdy’ return to the UFC, but also have a chance to reclaim the championship belt. Jedrzejczyk further named a couple of fighters who could have a go against the Olympian once she steps back inside the Octagon.

Jedrzejczyk appeared in a recent talk with Schmulenson, popularly known as ‘The Schmo’. The reporter asked the strawweight queen about her opinion on the rumored return of Rousey. He also asked her whether she believed Rousey should directly go for the title when and if she returns or not.
Jedrzejczyk replied, “She can fight for the vacant title. It’s her belt.” She simply couldn’t dismiss the fact that Rousey used to dominate the arena against her opponents. Her phenomenal achievements made the fighter believe that she can skip to the good part if she comes back and reclaim her throne.

Furthermore, Schmo enquired about whom Rousey should go against upon her return. While there were many in the long list of opponents, Jedrzejczyk had a choice between Julianna Pena and Raquel Pennington. But ‘Joanna Violence’ had made up her mind. She quickly replied, “Could be Julianna or Raquel. Raquel deserves a title shot. She has a few win streaks.” Although she supported both the fighters, her response shifted in favor of Pennington, owing to her win streaks.

While the entropy of the entire world of mixed martial arts rose with the talks about Rousey’s comeback, Anik didn’t believe that she would return. During a conversation with Josh Thomson, the UFC commentator opined that she had made quite a lot of money and could do whatever she desired.
He further commented that it was high time that the former champion spent her time away from the fights. Instead, he advised her to focus on farming at the ‘Browsey Acres’.
