UFC Hall of Famer ‘The American Psycho’ is no more. The 45-year-old reportedly died because of some heart complications. The UFC world around the world remembered Stephan Bonnar for his service to the sport and the entertainment he served to the fans in his active years. UFC president Dana White has credited Bonnar for saving the promotion. Bonnar‘s fight with Forrest Griffin is said as the fight that sparked a lot of interest in MMA from fans. They placed both Bonnar and Griffin in the UFC hall of fame back in 2013. Bonnar‘s sudden demise at a young age has saddened fans all around the world.

Bonnar had made an emotional video before his death. He had talked about his health and the complications that had made his situation worse. The fighter looked emaciated and far from the imposing figure fans were used to seeing in the cage. He also talked about how he was denied service and treatment because the authority took him as an alcoholic.

Stephan Bonnar’s last video haunts fans

In his last video, Bonnar said things that made it look like he knew he was close to death. Bonnar said, “It’s hard to eat too I don’t have much of an appetite I just you know I’m forcing uh for the most part like you know protein shakes with ensures uh and milk in an egg,” A frail-looking Bonnar said.

Talking about how his condition, He said, “I mean it’s like really easy for that bacteria you know that’s in your spine to travel around to the valves of your heart then you’re dead like you know just you know just when he said it like that it really uh kind of wow like shocked me like here I go again like wow am I really almost gonna oh yeah I’m almost F****** dead here like wow”

The American Psycho had a great career in the UFC

The finale of The Ultimate Fighter turned the fate of what was a failing promotion till then. The back-and-forth fight between Bonnar and Griffin captured fans’ attention and UFC happened. Bonnar fought 15 times in the UFC and won 8.

He lost to noted fighters like Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, and Forrest Griffin in a rematch. The losses didn’t hurt his legacy, though.
