“It’s Disgusting”: Dana White Dares to Ignite an Aussie Outrage Before UFC 284

The UFC community all around the world is eagerly waiting for UFC 284, which will be on February 12th. It’s hard for fans all around the globe to keep calm because it’s been a while since the UFC has conducted a super fight between two champions. The main event will feature a match between Alexander Volkanovski, the current UFC featherweight champion, and lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. The crowd will definitely be on the edge of their seats when Makhachev, who has a record of 23 victories and one loss, and Volkanovski, who has a record of 25-1, compete.

UFC 284 is worth all the waiting, as the event will feature champions from various divisions competing for the same title. UFC 284 is going to take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. As the fight got closer, the UFC president, Dana White, tried a unique way to promote the super fight and express how he felt about Australia.

Dana White hates the Australian dish

Dana White recently took to his Instagram handle as it is the “f**k it friday“. The UFC president made a brief video of him trying to make a dish with the very famous spread from Australia, Vegemite Fondue. He made sure that he addressed the Australians during the video as an easy technique to promote the upcoming super-fight. White tried to make Vegemite Fondue in the video. At the beginning of the footage, the president announced the UFC Super Bowl weekend.

However, soon after he made the dish, the UFC boss became way too honest with his preferences. While having the Vegemite Fondue, White said, “Just for the record, I hate vegemite; it’s disgusting.” He continued, “I know the Australians are gonna be crazy on me, but here we go.” After taking a spoon from the dish, White clearly expressed how disgusted he felt about the dish through his face and words.

From the video, it’s quite clear that the president just wanted to grab the attention of Australians for the upcoming UFC fight. It’s easy to capture their attention once you try a very famous dish from Australia and then call the dish “disgusting.“

Dana White is undoubtedly a great businessman. He knows quite well how to grab a lot of eyeballs for the benefit of the promotion.
