Do you know the reason behind Tesla cars’ massive success in recent times? Well, it is all because of the quality, as Joe Rogan and his guest James Fox revealed why the futuristic car stands out as the best car out there in the market. On the Joe Rogan Experience episode #2246, the UFC commentator and his documentary filmmaker guest heaped massive praise on Elon Musk’s product. Calling it the closest thing to a spaceship on wheels, James Fox is a massive fan of the car’s acceleration.

In fact, the “gut-punching” acceleration is so good that he often gets nauseous. The UFO investigator said that once somebody asked him to accelerate with quite a force to test out the electric car’s might. A move that he would soon regret. “I stepped on it in a Model 3 Performance. I got nauseous. I wasn’t quite ready. I was like, wow. I ride motorcycles. I’ve been doing all this, but I was like, you know, now I prepare myself for that. That’s really fast. That’s super bike fast.”

Even Joe Rogan revealed that he personally owns three Teslas, and they’re simply “incredible.” However, the biggest selling point for him is the fact that despite being ultra-fast, the car is as stealthy as it gets. “It’s crazy fast, and the beautiful thing is you can merge on the highway, and you don’t seem like a d*****bag because it’s not really loud—just super quiet.” Well, it seems like the electric car has won the hearts of Joe Rogan and his guest. However, there is another reason behind Tesla’s recent soar to the top, reaching a $1 trillion valuation.

Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections has led to a general rise in stock market values in the United States, especially Tesla, whose CEO, Elon Musk, was one of the Republican candidate’s main supporters during the election campaign. Tesla’s market value reached $1 trillion for the first time in November after the electric car maker’s shares rose more than 6% shortly after markets opened, putting the company above $1 trillion. Although they later lost some steam, they still enjoy a valuation of $1339.91 billion. Well, Tesla managed to win some major trust of investors after this November election. But do you know that Joe Rogan was very skeptical of the product in its early days?

Joe Rogan was skeptical of Tesla’s self-driving feature

Speaking to his guest Ali Siddiq on the Joe Rogan Experience #1998, Joe Rogan dropped a massive confession. The UFC commentator revealed that he did not trust his friend Elon Musk’s Tesla and the futuristic car’s self-driving feature. He said, “Yeah, I don’t trust it. I have it; I don’t trust it. Yeah, I have a Tesla. Answer the address you want to go to, press auto navigate. Here, stops at red light. You are supposed to keep your hand at the wheel, though. Just in case.”

Have an interesting take?

It is worth noting that the UFC commentator is a hardcore car enthusiast who owns multiple machines such as a Chevrolet Nova, Ford Raptor, Porsche 911, Tesla Model S, and Toyota Land Cruiser. So, if Joe Rogan is skeptical of it, many of his users might start feeling the same as his thoughts on the self-driving feature. But from what he revealed on JRE #2246, it seems like his fear of the self-driving feature no longer exists. There must be a reason behind him buying three Tesla cars after all.

Tesla is now geared up to launch its latest model, the Model Q, on the market. The compact EV could be more affordable than all the previous Tesla cars that have been dropped on the market so far. With Elon Musk’s new focus on the affordability of the product, do you believe that it would affect the quality of the car as well as its safety? Will Joe Rogan’s fear of the self-driving feature come to light again? Let us know in the comments.
