Adesanya sat down with his brother for an interview about the recent happenings in MMA, among other things. That was when he was hit with the question regarding the unexpected run-in with Jon Jones. His brother mentioned how the fans went crazy on social media after they saw the two UFC champions together. However, Adesanya claimed that it should not concern others. It is his personal business. ‘The Last Stylebender’ said, “It’s no one’s business… When I posted about it, I was like, It’s between me and him, that’s it.” He believes that it was what God wanted for him. He added, “It definitely wasn’t a fake encounter. I think it was divine intervention. I honestly do.”

Additionally, he gave a detailed description of the events that transpired that day in Las Vegas. Isreal Adesanya finished his training and decided to go downstairs to have something to eat. Then he entered the casino and was occupied with his phone when he heard someone getting surprised to see him. Adesanya said, “I decided to go into the casino where I was like, ‘Let’s go to the bar. And then as I get to the bar… I was like sit there or stand in [and] I’m on my phone, and then I hear, ‘No way!'”

The two UFC champions have squashed their beef

At first, Israel Adesanya thought that it was some fan. However, when he turned around, it was none other than the heavyweight champion himself. They immediately started to get along with each other. “You just think it’s some fan or whatever, and then I turn around and I was like, ‘Oh sh*t! What the f***!’ and instantly we just dapped up,” said the two-time middleweight champion.
