Famed rap artist Snoop Dogg spoke to Joe Rogan on an episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ and fans can’t get enough. The dynamic duo went over all things related to Snoop Dogg’s Super Bowl appearance and his injection into the fight game. Chiefly, his insights into both worlds led to a rather contrasting conversation about the UFC and the music industry.

While talking about the greats of the sport like BJ Penn and Georges St-Pierre, both men drew parallels between fighting and the music industry. Snoop Dogg discussed how with time, a fighter would come along and best even a credentialed world champion.

Rogan shared this sentiment as he’s seen such occurrences take place firsthand with his time with the UFC.

“There’s some guys that can hold it off until they retire. If you just stay in it long enough, eventually someone coming up is going to get you.”

Snoop Dogg then went on to say that he was surprised he is still relevant in the rap game despite being a yesteryear icon. From his vantage point, the music industry too moves along quickly, much like the fight game.

“That’s in everything though. Even in the music industry, it’s always been like that. It’s a young man’s game. That’s why I’m surprise I’m still in it.”
