Junior dos Santos, the former UFC fighter, will face Bulgarian boxing legend Kubrat Pulev in a thrilling encounter at the forthcoming triad combat event in early 2022. Triller’s triad combat event is a hybrid of MMA and professional boxing, with unique regulations designed for the event.
The Triad Combat event also features an exciting new triangular design for the ring, instead of a square ring or the octagon, leaving no room for combatants to escape. The previous triad combat event was both thrilling and brutal.
Triller’s first triad combat event took held in November, earlier this year. The event included prominent names like Kubrat Pulev, Frank Mir, and Mike Perry. Metallica, the iconic heavy metal band, closed out the night with a live performance.

The former UFC fighter, Brendan Schaub, weighed in on the upcoming bout between Junior dos Santos and Kubrat Pulev on his podcast show, Below the Belt.
He said,” It’s a terrible idea for Junior. I don’t get it. Pulev is an absolute f*cking savage, dude. He is an absolute savage. I don’t know why you would want to get in there if you were dos Santos.”
Schaub added,” I guess, I don’t know where he’s at financially. Maybe that makes sense…It’s insane. Look what Pulev did to f*cking Frank Mir, dude… I just don’t get it.”
Another exciting fight booked for the second Triller Triad Combat event is Vitor Belfort versus Chad Dawson.
