Undeniably, the fight between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards is one of the fights that has the attention of the entire globe. However, prior to the main event, the preliminary cards also seemed to pack a strong punch. Furthermore, the rumors about ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ suffering from a serious knee injury, and Colby Covington coming as the backup for the main event for UFC 286 has, in fact, caught the world by surprise.
Without a doubt, the world lies awake with anticipation of the fight. However, it’s not just the main event that is determined to entertain the public. UFC world disappointed with Chris Duncan vs. Omar Morales at UFC 286
The fighters touched gloves and literally kicked off the bout as they exchanged a few blows from their legs. Soon, Morales sent Duncan stumbling, however, soon the fighter regained his ground. Nevertheless, ‘The Problem’ kept exploiting his powerful right arm, only to be countered by Morales. The first round ended with an elbow from Duncan, after he rushed for a clinch.
Round 2 began with a clap of hands. However, it quickly escalated into a showcase of grappling skills. Duncan forced his opponent to go down on his knees, but he got back up with little effort. As the fight continued, Morales kept smiling and apparently mocked ‘The Problem’. Duncan tried a few more times to grapple with Morales, but the Venezuelan shook it all off. The round ended with a majority of decisions turning towards Duncan owing to his higher ground control points.
