Dana White took the UFC from being a $2 million organization in 2001 to become a fight promotion valued at $12 billion in 2024. And in the process of making the MMA promotion the best one in the realm, he rose to a net value of around $500 million himself. But do you know how the UFC head honcho liked to spend his millions? Parties were a big spending zone for the UFC CEO. And one such party left even Joe Rogan flabbergasted.

In episode #2283 of the JRE, Rogan sat down together with Billy Corgan for an elaborate conversation. And during the talks, the JRE host slipped in a lesser known but extravagant fact about White’s 40th birthday party. He said, “I saw Stone Temple Pilots. They played Dana White’s 40th birthday party. There was no one in the room other than UFC employees. They put on a show like it was a f—— sold out arena. I mean, full blast! They didn’t go through the motions at all. It was a phenomenal show.”

That was when the lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins revealed that the UFC head honcho must have paid a good amount of money to the band for their performance. And the UFC color commentator agreed. He continued, “It was a lot of money.” Rogan was amazed at not only the performance that the Stone Temple Pilots showcased on White’s birthday, but it was the power they brought to the stage that had the JRE host enthralled. He said, “And because they were so powerful on stage, everyone started paying attention because it kind of broke out in the middle of this party.”

Dana White spent a fortune on his son’s 16th birthday party

On 19 July 2018, Aidan White turned 16 and his father decided to throw a lavish party in Las Vegas. Well, he spent more than a million dollars on the party. Talking about it later on the Las Vegas Review Journal, White said, “We’ve done nothing like this. Not even close. We were wondering how we were going to top (son) Dana’s party, but we did it. They brought out the big red button and we hit that, and a bunch of those high-pressure steam cannons went off. That brought the crowd from the pool inside. It was awesome.”

Well, the UFC head honcho did invite Kendrick Lamar and had him perform at the party. He gifted his son a brand new BMW. Later, Aidan received a UFC-styled championship belt and at one point, he claimed that he could go for the real thing too. The party lasted for 6 hours at Victor Drai’s nightclub.
