In an episode of ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’, featuring the comedian, Shane Gillis, the boys talked about Joe Rogan and his podcast. Gillis revealed that in one episode, Rogan was blacked out for about 2 hours. The group stayed in the studio for about 5 hours, and Rogan passed out for two.

Joe Rogan passed out after drinking

In the ‘Bussin’ With The Boys’ clip, Gillis took the chance to talk about Joe Rogan‘s blackout story when the talks turned to drinking. Gillis said that Shaffir drank with him, but he couldn’t keep up. Then the JRE host joined him, as well. When Crompton asked how well Rogan fared in drinking, Gillis replied, “He died”. However, it was revealed that Rogan edited some things out. He claimed, “But there was some editing going on, dude. Rogey’s got on there and edited some things out.” Crompton tried to clarify if it was to cover up how bad he was at drinking. The comedian said, “It wasn’t the pride about the drinking it was the pride about how f**ked up he was.”

Gillis revealed that the crew had a beer bong at the end. He said, “At the very end, Jamie brought out a beer bong and we all started bonging beers. And Joe’s competitive and he was like I can drink with you. I can bong just as many as you. Instantly, I was like let’s go dude. Please. Because I’ve never seen Rogan f**king obliterated.” However, the fun began when Rogan apparently turned gray.

“Dude, we bonged like 5 or 6 in like 20 minutes. He was- he turned gray. His face was gray, and he was like [imitated Rogan behind a microphone]. But he was blacked out, but he was still in like podcast mode. So, we’d be like talking to the mic,” the comedian revealed.

Gillis further added, “We stayed in the room for I’d say five, five and half hours. And the podcast is just three hours long. So, for two hours it was just Rogan blacked out.

The talks of JRE Bump

Will Crompton asked whether Joe Rogan’s bump was natural. The comedian replied, “The Rogan Bump’s insane.” Gillis has been to ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ 5 times this year. He revealed that his first-ever experience in the JRE was pretty bad. His nervousness in meeting Joe Rogan for the first time and the one-on-one talk apparently ruined the episode. “I don’t know, I was just nervous. So you get down and it was like a f**king bomb went off and it was like that ringing. I just died”, he said.

Furthermore, he claimed that if one has a bad episode, it’s not perceived as a bump. “If you have a bad episode, you don’t see a bump. I mean, you get a bump, like ten thousand followers or something like that”, he said. Finally, he spoke of the better episodes as they featured Ari Shaffir and Mark Normand. These episodes were better because they were like a party and not a one-on-one talk show.

Nonetheless, Rogan passing out and still being in podcasting mode probably became a topic for Shane Willis. Moreover, Joe Rogan’s competitive nature has always stayed a matter of interest for many others.
