UFC welterweight contender, Jorge Masvidal has always been the people’s champ. He broke into the UFC after a long journey that started off as a street fighter. It really took off after the MMA icon, Kevin Ferguson took him under his wing. Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice, saw the potential in young Masvidal. The rest, as they say, is history. Even today, ‘Gamebred’ honors the memory of the late MMA icon. He recently shared an old video where Ferguson prepared a unique concoction, which he called a ‘protein shake’.

Masvidal shared the secret ‘Kimbo Shake’ recipe that Ferguson used to gain his mass. However, it’s definitely not the usual protein shake that your gym trainer might recommend. The recipe starts off fairly simple, with Slice pouring some milk into a blender. But that’s exactly where the Bahamian-American MMA star cuts ties with every other protein shake in the world.

Ferguson narrated the process “we’re gonna start off with some milk… throw in some eggs….” to former NFL player, LaDainian Tomlinson.

Ferguson added 3 eggs, and an entire stick of butter followed by some ground beef into this “Legendary” concoction. But that’s not all. The late street-fighting icon wanted it to have more protein.

Slice said “we’re gonna go with some ground beef, here for that protein. Then… some leather. Nice and tough.”

So he added a piece of leather. Then, poured an ungodly amount of barbeque and hot sauce into the mix, to add some flavor. The result is the drink of champions. He then handed the entire blender to his friend, LT, to chug on it.

LaDainian Tomlinson took a sip of the ‘Kimbo Shake’

La Dainian Tomlinson drank this questionable beverage, prepared by his friend and trainer, Kevin Ferguson.  To the viewer’s surprise, he enjoyed it.

Tomlinson even complimented Slice for it “Tasty. This might be the best one you’ve ever made.” “It tastes real good.”

He added, “I know what it tastes like. Championship!”

Not sure if Tomlinson ever had a beverage in his life. But nobody else on this planet would even dare to take a sip. However, he really guzzled the beef-leather protein shake.
