Former UFC referee John McCarthy expressed his disdain for White’s apparent change of heart regarding gimmick fights in his recent podcast.

“How long ago was it that f*cking Dana came out saying we don’t do gimmick fights? Dana White talks one way in one week and then he’s gonna switch. Dana’s gonna do what Dana can make money at.”
