While Conor McGregor impressed the world with his skills inside the Octagon, his team hasn’t been able to secure a single win in The Ultimate Fighter season 31. The score now reads 7-0, and Team Michael Chandler is just one win away from a clean sweep. ‘The Notorious’ doesn’t seem to be taking this too well. He recently made a demand of $60,000 from Dana White because his teammate Carlos Vera put up a great fight, even though he eventually lost. But now McGregor is worried!

After ‘Iron’ jabbed the Irishman’s query of a clean sweep on Twitter, he took to Instagram and released video footage of the same. In the video, fans witnessed what the UFC president, Dana White, had to say about the current situation. The former UFC double champion was visibly upset about the results. Such a lopsided battle is happening for the very first time, and it seems there are no clear answers to certain questions now.

After the results of the 7th fight of TUF 31 got out, the entire world had its eyes fixed on ‘The Notorious’. His team faced the 7th loss in a row as Jason Knight defeated Landon Quinones. Chandler made it easy for the fans to see McGregor’s distress. He sent out video footage on Instagram that revealed how worried his opposing coach was.

In the video, an unsettled McGregor asked White about his TUF scenario. He asked, “What happens if it’s a clean sweep?” The former champion seemed truly disturbed by his team’s consecutive losses.

However, White didn’t have an answer ready for the coach. The UFC boss said, “He came over to me and asked me, you know, what happens if his team loses every quarter-final fight. And I said, honestly, I don’t know. It’s crazy because it has never happened in 30 seasons of The Ultimate Fighter.”

Even White was flabbergasted as history recorded itself with a score that never happened before in TUF. If McGregor’s team suffers yet another loss next week, it would leave him without a fighter to coach throughout the remainder of the season. McGregor isn’t keen on creating such a history, but Chandler is.

Michael Chandler won’t stop taunting McGregor

After defeating McGregor’s team for yet another time, Chandler attacked the ‘Mystic Mac’ in a tweet. He wrote, “What happens if there is a clean sweep? Fire up the jet…that’s what… #tuf31.”

As a clean sweep would leave McGregor with no fighters to mentor, an executive producer hinted that some of Chandler’s fighters would need to switch sides in order for the show to go on. But nothing is officially out yet.

Next week, Hunter Azure from Team Chandler and Rico DiSciullo from Team McGregor will clash and it seems McGregor might be desperate for a win.
