Jon Jones coming back to the UFC with a fantastic win against Ciryl Gane left fans wondering about his next fight. There aren’t a lot of fighters who can go against Jones. Francis Ngannou has left the UFC. Gane has just been tormented and no other fighter seems like a good match, but there is one guy that even Jon Jones wanted to fight. Stipe Miocic has earned a few championships and a lot of respect from fans and experts. Critics, commentators, and media widely regard the 40-year-old Miocic as the greatest UFC heavyweight fighter of all time.

As weeks passed by, it has been only clearer that Jon Jones will fight Stipe Miocic next. The war of words started. While Jon Jones suggested Miocic leave his job as a firefighter to focus on his preparations for facing Jon Jones, Miocic didn’t back down and reminded Jones how he had achieved all he had working as a firefighter. Recently, Jon Jones accused Miocic of dodging him last year. ‘The Silencer’ had a short and sweet response. He tweeted, “See you in July.” UFC President Dana White has now rubbished Jon Jones’ claims that Miocic dodged him.
