‘The Hangman’ made a brief appearance on a recent edition of the ‘MMA Hour’. He was supposed to go for surgery. Despite that, he decided to stop by and share a few details about the state of his injury. When asked how Hooker’s arm was feeling, he said, “It’s pretty sore [chuckles] but, yeah, what’re you gonna do about it?”
Even though his arm was banged up, Hooker is certain that he will recover quickly after undergoing the surgery process. He further added, “We will get it all fixed up, and [I will be] back to a 100 percent in no time.” Dan Hooker also opined on the exact moment during the fight when he knew he got injured.

Dan Hooker revealed that his arm started to give him problems gradually as the fight against Jalin Turner progressed throughout the rounds. He said, “I think it was a bit of like a slow process. There was like a front kick in the first round that I think might have put a little crack in there.” An accurate and precise front kick from ‘The Tarantula’ was enough to get his arm to start giving problems in an important matchup.

Moreover, when the second round began, Hooker started to notice that his arm wasn’t responding well. And after a few more kicks from Turner, he knew it was busted. ‘The Hangman’ said, “Just as round 2 started, I looked down at my arm because it was not responding the way I wanted it to. Then in the second [round] he [Turner] land in like a couple more kicks and I think that breaks it.”
As soon as the third round started, Hooker was able to drop Jalin Turner and wanted to follow that up by landing some serious strikes. However, as soon as he tried to throw a punch, his arm got dislocated. “I threw my right hand, and I felt it completely got out of place,” said the UFC 290 victor.
