UFC star Israel Adesanya hinted he might resort to USADA’s banned procedure if the organization fails in its supervisory duties. The middleweight fighter, who is mere hours away from his redemption fight at UFC 287, might exploit the loopholes he earlier warned the American body about. ‘The Last Stylebender’ is leaving no detail unchecked ahead of his fight on Saturday. While he deployed an intense training camp, he grew suspicious of the weight-cutting issues of his arch-rival, Alex Pereira. The Brazilian fighter, who carries a frame bigger than most 185 lbs fighters, is the usual suspect and can be mistaken for a heavyweight. The New Zealander suspects foul play, and therefore, his recent shenanigans popped up.

Notably, the 33-year-old fighter took to his Twitter handle and demanded a stringent protocol from USADA in a series of tweets. While his earlier call went unheard, the former UFC champion then suggested relying on the banned IV. The debate surrounding the use of IV has engulfed the MMA community in the past few months, and the controversy has only gained traction since then.

The 23-2 record holder in a cheeky tweet expressed he intended to take advantage of IV to rehydrate and ease his weight-cutting issues. Further, he sought the legal loophole limit for exploration.

Thus, he wrote, “Fine then, I’ll just use an IV to rehydrate. What’s the “legal loophole limit” again?”

However, his comments didn’t sit well with MMA fans. While some fans advised the former kickboxer to fixate on the grudge fight, others pointed out these tweets were a string of excuses.

In the earlier tweet, the City Kickboxing representative product had called out USADA to work in shifts to keep a check on the proceedings.

The #1 ranked middleweight asked the USADA to adopt rigorous monitoring. And, as a result, there should have been no loopholes to jump.
