In the press conference after UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs Allen, Dana White spoke about the middleweight champ. When asked about Adesanya’s next fight, White started by praising him for his willingness to always fight.
According to White, ever since his victory against Pereira, Adesanya has been trying to fix his next fight. “This guy was already blowing Hunter and the boys up (saying) when’s my next fight, when’s my next fight? I want to fight again,” said White. “I love that about Israel Adesanya. Israel Adesanya wants to fight non-stop, constantly, and he wants to fight everybody.”

Adesanya has been one of the most active UFC champions lately. Since winning the UFC middleweight title in 2019, Adesanya made 5 successful title defenses. In between all this, he also moved to light heavyweight in an unsuccessful attempt to win the light heavyweight title. In just under 5 months, Adesanya fought Pereira twice.

Dana White gives a timeline for Adesanya’s next fight
Dana White also said that the UFC officials are working on the next fight for Israel Adesanya. According to him, fans can see the middleweight champ back in action in a few months. “So yeah we’re working on that and he’ll fight again soon. Maybe before the end of the summer”, said White.
While the next middleweight title challenger isn’t finalized, many are thinking it can be Dricus Du Plessis. Adesanya recently called him out for his remarks about Adesanya‘s African heritage. Fans are eagerly anticipating his next fight, and it seems that Adesanya himself is ready to take on anyone who stands in his way.
