

Israel Adesanya took to Twitter recently to take a shot at Jon Jones. Jones was the subject of some controversy lately with his fiance involved. Later ‘Bones’ posted a video alongside his fiance and seemingly sent a message to the fans signaling everything is alright between them.
That hasn’t stopped Adesanya from taking a shot at the former light-heavyweight champion. Adesanya is not the only one in the MMA community to be skeptical of Jones’s message after the recent saga. However, ‘Stylebender’ kept up his familiar troll behavior in what was a shot at Jones.

He posted a meme and a screenshot of a conversation with his friend. Judging by the reaction of fans, they were certainly amused by Adesanya’s antics.
Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones: a fight that never happened
In his short stint in the organization, Adesanya has managed to establish his status as one of the top fighters in the entire roster of the UFC. His stardom has been prominent lately.

Jones, on the other hand, is considered the greatest fighter ever in the UFC by many. Also, they used to fight one weight class apart. So, a potential clash looked imminent at one point in time.

But, Jones has been looking to move up to the heavyweight division for a while. And he has added a significant amount of weight for doing so. Any future possibility of these two men colliding is slim to none. Also, it will be interesting to see if the recent saga has any sort of impact on Jones’s heavyweight debut.
