He mentioned that they always try to avoid doing certain things in the house by making up excuses. Volkanovski said, “They always try to stay away. ‘Go on and turn it on. My belly hurts,’ and all, you know…’I’m scared.'”

The featherweight champion could not understand why his daughters were so scared, and after asking them about it, they mentioned their fear of someone breaking into their house, especially his former rival and reigning lightweight champion Islam Makhachev breaking into their house, leading ‘The Great’ to break down laughing.

“I’m like, ‘What are you scared about?’ [She’s like], ‘What if someone breaks in? I might die’… She says, ‘What if it’s Islam Makhachev?’ I started laughing,” added the 145-pound champion. It wasn’t just Volkanovski who had a laugh when his daughters talked about Islam Makhachev. The fans also shared some hilarious reactions on social media.
