‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ viewers have often witnessed the UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, revealing himself on the show. The ’56-year-old’ has also given out his take on various controversial topics in a number of episodes of his podcast. His ‘JRE’-based commentary on the government’s measures and self-treatment of COVID-19 sparked massive protests from several communities in the country. It also had ‘Spotify’ workers going on a strike against the alleged spread of misinformation by Rogan, which finally resulted in the removal of about 70 episodes of the podcast.
Along with these types of controversial takes, Rogan has also presented a number of his personal choices on the episodes of his podcast. On one of them, the ‘former martial artist’ revealed his political preference as well. A large chunk of US citizens view UFC personalities as Republicans due to the involvement of the former US President, Donald Trump in the promotion. It also may have some truth to it, but Rogan definitely isn’t someone who would be led by convenience.

Joe Rogan debunked the previous assumptions about his political preference
Several ‘JRE’ viewers have witnessed Rogan bashing the Democratic Party government a number of times. He had been pretty vocal about the government’s allegedly ambiguous measures to restrict the spread of COVID-19. In episode #1865 of ‘JRE’, the noted NFL star, Aaron Rodgers, joined the seasoned comedian. At a point in the episode, Rogan stated, “Vote for the Republicans” while he took jibes at the Democratic government regarding COVID-19.
These words might have a number of ‘JRE’ viewers counting Rogan as a supporter of the Republicans. However, in another episode of ‘JRE’, the ‘former Fear Factor host’ gave out a completely different take on his political preference.
In episode #1412 of ‘JRE’, the noted comedian and political commentator, Jimmy Dore, joined Rogan. But here, Rogan showcased a much more pro-democratic belief. It all began with Rogan stating some of his pro-democratic views. Dore, who probably knew Rogan to be a “right-winger” was blown off by his words. Rogan further revealed, “I’ve never voted right-wing” in my life.
He also revealed that he has voted for the Republicans only once. The ’56-year-old said, “I’ve voted for the Democrats except” on only a single occasion and it was because the noted businessman and Republican leader, Gary Johnson, had once appeared on his podcast.
Joe Rogan’s choices were in line with the views of the Democratic Party
‘The ‘JRE’ host’ also stated that he wasn’t completely in denial with the Republicans. But, he stated, “When things get to homophobia, women’s rights, that’s where I break”, implying that he was nowhere appreciative of the distaste that Republicans mostly have regarding these issues. Rogan also supported the Democratic vision of investing the available resources inside the country instead of international collaborations.
It was apparent that Rogan wanted development for the poor and crime-ridden neighborhoods in the country. ‘The seasoned comedian’ also labeled a number of changes that could be made to develop those places. He stated, “protect the children from gangs, put more cops”.

Dore, probably a Democratic supporter too, pulled up a reference to the former US President, Franklin D. Roosevelt. He stated how FDR looked into the basic problems of the people. Dore mentioned, Roosevelt gave people “jobs”, which is a prime requirement for survival. It gave people a chance to earn for themselves. He also said, “we have the money for it”, although the Republicans wouldn’t have used it for the same purposes.

It was apparent that both Rogan and Dore wanted more focus on the basic internal issues in the country. And to serve this purpose, Rogan was quite happy to trust in the Democrats, although he had a number of right-wing habits.
