Is UFC 311 getting moved to Las Vegas after wildfire? Dana White reacts
The NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings was already shifted from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood to the Arizona Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium in Glendale. This emergency shift naturally garnered attention and questions were asked about the UFC 311 plans because it would take place at the new Intuit Dome just miles away from the center of disastrous fires.
MMA’s top reporter Ariel Helwani was up and going regarding the news, and posted some updates on X. He said that if the event was forced to move, then the second venue would surely be in Las Vegas. Naturally, it is the regular home of UFC fights.
Helwani reported on X, “The hope is it remains there [in Californa]. But they are monitoring and ready to move the card if need be. No talks of delaying the card. Obviously, that call needs to happen soon. The event is eight days away. Vegas would be the frontrunner. Worth noting: T-Mobile Arena is not booked for next Saturday, Jan. 18.” Thankfully the UFC fans got an update from Dana White as well while he was speaking with Kick Streamer Adin Ross.
Dana White on UFC 311 venue change
Dana White, speaking to his buddy Ross, told the controversial social media personality about his next plans. He said, “Well if the fire gets bad, we’re coming to Vegas… We’ll move it to Vegas if it gets too bad but as of now, it’s all a go. NBA is going to go this week; we’re going to go.”

On top of that, even the California State Athletic Commission boss Andy Foster spoke about the same. This information was given by host Petesy Carroll from The Craic on Helwani’s Uncrowned network. “We are watching the ongoing wildfires and the subsequent emergency and disastrous response in the Los Angeles area,” Carroll narrated from the statement by Foster. To add to the already unfortunate events happening in LA, UFC owner Ari Emmanuel lost his Los Angeles home to the fires as well. However, there was an official update from the Intuit Dome X page. They declared that UFC 311 was confirmed for the venue and was not shifting anywhere.
Our game tomorrow has been postponed by the @NBA due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles and out of respect for the public service resources needed during this time.

The fire has expanded uncontrollably and more than 10,000 hectares have already been burned. The impact was so huge that Dana White and Co are offering help for the natural disaster. Dana White shared an Instagram post of the Clark County Fire Department about sharing units to assist the local fire department and help them combat the wildfires. He wrote a caption in the story that read, “Love this!!! Already called @govjoelombardo Much respect to all the first responders from Nevada and California. ANYTHING you need for Me or @ufc, we got you!”
So the boss is not only trying to save UFC 311 but also aiding the people of California at this trying time. Do you think UFC 311 will be successfully conducted amid these wildfires? Or should they shift it to Vegas without waiting much?
