The ongoing rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar is the hottest thing in all of the music industry, indeed in all of American cultural consciousness at the moment. And Joe Rogan has finally weighed in on it.
In a recent episode of the JRE, the UFC commentator, in a conversation with Deric Poston, said that he had been avoiding commenting on their feud. However, when told that their bad blood had resulted in eight songs being dropped by both men so far, he was puzzled, and had one simple question: “So what, does someone have to tap out here? Is this to the death?”
The podcast host also suggested a much more amicable way for both men to settle their beef, without using any violence or slagging each other off. “That would be the way to wrap it up, that’s what you do, break bread, hug it out, go ‘well you got me with that one’; ‘you got me with that one, let’s put it out as an album,'” Rogan added.

The beef between the two Grammy winners started in 2013, with Kendrick Lamar firing the first (metaphorical) shot, and calling out other rappers, including Drake in a verse on Big Sean’s ‘Control’. Since then, the two have gone and forth, taking shots at each other in multiple songs and their concerts. While the bad blood between them had been simmering for some time, it boiled over this year as both men have been going back and forth, dissing each other.

Meanwhile, Joe Rogan is not the only UFC star to comment on the Drake-Lamar beef, as recently Jon Jones also joined the bandwagon.
Drake or Kendrick Lamar? Jon Jones answers
The beef between the two Grammy-winning artists has reached new heights with both Drake and Kendrick Lamar coming out with diss tracks against each other. The UFC world is also not behind in giving their input into the fight as, a few days back, the UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones took to his official X handle to express his love for hip-hop and reveal who has better music between Drake and Lamar.

“I’m not deep into hip-hop like that. I’m more of a fan of Drake’s music; I find a lot of his stuff catchy. But I hear Kendrick is a better lyricist. Who are y’all rocking with?” Jones wrote on X. He did not take sides, although he did mention who his favorite musician and lyricist were.
