Fans are no stranger to the fact that Condit has slowed and doest fight with the speed he used to. Many fighters retire after the age of thirty-five, as fighting is considered a young man’s game. Condit has suffered a lot of concussions during his career because he’s been a part of forty-five professional bouts where he took a lot of damage. Therefore, retirement is surely around the corner for the UFC veteran.
Yet after all that ‘The Natural Born Killer’ is still active today and UFC seems to have extended his contract as the last fight against Matt Brown was the final fight on his contract. It looks like his future entirely depends on the outcome of his fight against Max Griffin.
Will Carlos Condit fight Nick Diaz in a rematch?
After Condit’s win over Matt Brown, many people believed that the UFC is about to put together a rematch between him and Nick Diaz. But instead, ‘The Natural Born Killer‘ got Max Griffin as his next opponent. Diaz still is opponent less because the UFC can’t find an ideal match-up for the returning fighter. If Condit wins at UFC 264 there a splendid chance that the UFC could try to put together an old-school clash between the old rivals.
