Sean Strickland is no stranger to controversy. The former UFC middleweight champion is known for his brash personality and outspoken nature. However, no one could have predicted that he would be involved in a ‘beef’ with musician Machine Gun Kelly which would also cause actress, Megan Fox to be caught in the crossfire as well!

Earlier this year at the Power Slap event in Las Vegas, the UFC fighter got into a heated exchange with Machine Gun Kelly after being introduced to the musician by a common friend. According to a video shared by Strickland on his YouTube channel, he stated, “I go and I meet the vampire, [Luke Trembath] introduces me to the vampire and I make fun of him…”

Strickland then made some disparaging remarks about the musician’s attire and in his YouTube video he further explained, “I’m like, ‘Dude, what are you f****** wearing. Like, what the f*** is going on here?”, but the musician didn’t find it funny. The video of the incident, which went viral online, showed Machine Gun Kelly saying something to Strickland, following which the UFC fighter responded by yelling back at him, “I’m easy to find, vampire man.”

This led to a series of posts on X by ‘Tarzan’ where he blasted the musician for his outfit and stated, “I almost hit a vampire tonight… lol! They said his name is machine gun kelly..  How do you have a dope ass name and dress like a 13 goth south park character?!?”

Strickland didn’t stop there as he continued his tirade by taking aim at Megan Fox, who was in a relationship with the musician at the time. The revelation of Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship with Megan Fox only added fuel to Strickland’s frustration, leaving him incredulous and bewildered. In another post, Strickland stated, “….Transformers Megan Fox is with that thing….. what the actual f*ck has happened to the world?! What did I miss? Is she OK? Is this man the devil? @meganfox are you ok? Do you need assistance?!”

While Machine Gun Kelly and Fox both didn’t respond to Strickland’s antics, UFC CEO Dana White was later asked to share his thoughts on what transpired and he had a unique response to the entire situation!

During the Power Slap event post-fight press conference, Dana White was asked to share his thoughts on the altercation between Strickland and Machine Gun Kelly. It’s about humans.”

The statement provided more context to the situation as according to Strickland’s YouTube video regarding the incident, he had proclaimed, “It’s like they have a weird god complex, and when I’m around them, I just want to hurt them all to remind them you are just a human being, shut the f*** up.”

While the dust has settled on the incident, Strickland has managed to stay away from the “vampire man” since. But it serves as a reminder of the diverse personalities that populate the world of combat sports. From the adrenaline-fueled action inside the Octagon to the heated exchanges outside of it, the drama never seems to cease and with Sean Strickland in the mix, fans can always be sure to expect the unexpected!
