Nassourdine Imavov was born in Dagestan and then moved to France to start training for a career in MMA. ‘The Sniper’ has a record of 15-4-0 and is already 10 fights old in UFC. He made his debut in 2016 as a welterweight fighter and cruised an amazing record of 8 wins and 2 losses before coming into UFC.

Well, these are all his career stats which are available for the fans to see but what about his personal life? Not much is known about his relationships because he has been tight-lipped about the whole ordeal. Nothing is known of his wife or girlfriend and he maintains a low profile about his romantic life.

He was born on March 1 1995 and also has an older brother named Daguir Imavov who is also a pro MMA fighter. They were born in the ethnic Kumyk family in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, Russia. At the tender age of 9, Imavov moved away to Salon-de-Provence, France, where he started boxing. Interestingly, his father was also a pro boxer, and it was Imavov’s older brother who started fighting professionally before him.

During a previous YouTube appearance in MMA Fanatics, the middleweight star shared details about his childhood days. While he did not get inclined towards sports before a later age, Imavov claimed that he knew how to wrestle because, in Dagestan, wrestling is like an evening playtime for children. It’s not surprising in his land to know wrestling and we can see its effect with world-class wrestlers as pro-MMA fighters.

“I wasn’t in a sports gym, but I was doing some fighting. We would fight outside, and like I said when my father’s friend would bring his son, we would wrestle. It’s the culture. Everybody’s doing wrestling,” Nassourdine Imavov stated.
