Joe Rogan’s bubble gut makes headlines again! However, this time it wasn’t just him, but also two of his new guests who made fans concerned about the overuse of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) among the rich and successful. Taking to his Instagram, the JRE host shared a picture of himself alongside W. Bryan Hubbard and James Perry, the guests on his latest edition of JRE. However, it is their physique that drew more attention than the contents of their podcast.
Joe Rogan uploaded the picture to promote his latest episode about ibogaine therapy, a plant that helps heal addiction. However, in the picture, the trio can be seen with abnormally inflated guts. It is no new secret that Joe Rogan is a fitness enthusiast who promotes fitness through martial arts, as well as through ‘Onnit,’ the brand he is the co-founder of. However, his bubble gut has always brought him accusations of using HGH (Human Growth Hormone). But what exactly is HGH?
Well, the pituitary gland in our body produces a naturally occurring substance known as the growth hormone. It is responsible for the development of muscle and tissue in children and teenagers. However, as humans age, the production of these hormones decreases with time. As a result, Joe Rogan has been using it for quite a while now to compensate for his body’s lower production of growth hormones at his age. He claims that he takes one international unit (IU) of HGH per day.

While the dosage he takes is within the accepted limit, it is worth noting that in his JRE episode with Andrew Schultz in 2019, Joe Rogan revealed that he has been taking human growth hormones since 2011. “I took a lot of different stuff. Now, I take human growth hormone and testosterone. I go for hormone replacement therapy. I don’t need more. It’s a very light dose. The testosterone is cream. It’s healthy. It does wonders for your body.” However, it looks like the internet seems concern with this life choice.

Joe Rogan gets fans concerned with HGH use
As soon as Joe Rogan uploaded the picture on his Instagram, fans were quick to show their concern about how odd the trio’s torsos looked. One fan even took the picture to Reddit and wondered what could be the reason behind such bloated bellies. That is when many came forward and shared their concern about how Joe Rogan might be exploiting HGH. Taking to the comments, they wrote (about Bryan Hubbard and James Perry too), “I guess there is HGH in my beer?” “Totally. The HGH crew,” “Poor people have beer guts; rich people have HGH chests,” and “HGH is the real answer.”
However, there is one name that often gets linked with HGH, and that is that of Elon Musk. Joe Rogan’s good friend has also often drawn the attention of fans who believe that the billionaire too has a similar bloated belly and might be using HGH as well. So it didn’t take long for several fans to draw similarities between the build of Joe Rogan, his guests, and Elon Musk. They shared, “Hey all, going for the Elon look? Lmao,” and “They are all built like Elon Musk.”

Have an interesting take?
While drawing similarities with Elon Musk seemed like a sound comparison, some fans believed that Rogan and his crew looked a lot like the Cybertruck instead. Known for its bulky yet edgy look, the fans wrote, “Built like a Cybertruck,” “Copying the Cybertruck, I see,” and “Looking like your buddies car is the goals for sure.”
Well, it looks like Rogan’s use of HGH is making fans turn their backs on him. But what do you think? Is it fine for the 57-year-old to be using it? Let us know in the comments.
