Conor McGregor recently shared a screenshot from the UFC Fight Pass. It showed his return fight, scheduled for 16th December 2023, against Michael Chandler. It sent fans into a frenzy as they started speculating if McGregor’s UFC 296 return was legitimate. However, Dana White later dismissed the fact that December 16 is not the actual date of the Irishman’s comeback fight. Moreover, he mentioned that he did not even know how that date got out.
Regardless of White dismissing McGregor’s claims, former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub believes that it could be the real deal. In a recent YouTube video, the former heavyweight spoke about McGregor’s influence in the promotion. He opined if that’s what the Irishman wanted to do, he would do it anyway.
