Conor McGregor is without a doubt one of the biggest fighters in the UFC at the moment. With the former dual champion calling out Sean O’Malley for a sparring session, should he take the challenge? Although there is no possibility of the fighters taking on each other at the moment, Sonnen seemed a bit excited. In his recent conversation with ‘DC on ‘Good Guy/Bad Guy’, Sonnen said, “Isn’t this the move though? Everybody wants to align themselves with Conor. And if you’re ever going to be a top draw in the sport, you gotta get in there with Conor.”

However, ‘The American Gangster further cleared the fact that Sean O’Malley currently holds some advantages over McGregor. He claimed, “O’Malley is now a top draw. I would say he’s a top three. He’s not McGregor. But in all fairness he’s the champion and in some ways he’s in front of McGregor. Which one them is most likely to defend a world title? O’ Malley.”

“Which one of them is most likely to have more than two fights in the rest of their career? It’s O’Malley. I mean you are talking about some shelf life. He’s never gonna get the match. Conor’s never coming down. O’ Malley is never going all the way up to 155. Isn’t this the right move to come and stick it right in the guy’s chest,” concluded the fan-favorite UFC analyst.

Sean O’Malley confused with Conor McGregor’s latest callout

29-year-old Sean O’Malley has always been a fan of Conor McGregor and even considers him an idol. However, his recent call-out has left the champion a bit sad and confused. McGregor’s deleted tweet pointed out the controversy that surrounded O’Malley in 2018-19 for the use of Ostarine. But why exactly did the Dubliner drag ‘Suga’ into this?

Well, O’Malley, while speaking to Martin, said, “I’ve never said anything but praised him, you know? I’ve looked up to him. So, I want to try to hate him, but you know, it’s hard. Conor, he’s the man. He really is. But I… I don’t know. I really don’t feel any way about it. When I first saw it, I was like, “What the…”

I didn’t want to, so he’s, you know, he sees me blowing up.”
