Garcia entered the fight with a lot of controversy surrounding his mental health. However, he did pass all the evaluation tests which declared him fit for the fight. According to Sonnen, Garcia volunteered for a drug test to prove his innocence, which was his biggest mistake. ‘The American Gangster’ said, “You know what the word volunteer means? To put yourself in jeopardy. You are not volunteering to have extra credit put on you… to enter a drug pool you’re already in… [or] to have a reputable agency oversee it. You already have all of those things,”
The fans can only hope that Garcia can prove his innocence and come out of this trouble. His B samples will be tested on May 22. Only then can he prove his innocence. Do you think ‘King Ryan’ can come out clean this time round? Let us know in the comments below.
