Can you imagine Khabib Nurmagomedov getting angry or upset with anyone? The retired UFC fighter and Hall of Famer has always kept a calm demeanor, and everybody knows him because of his generosity towards his team members. However, even the most elite UFC veteran can get upset sometimes. Unfortunately, Belal Muhammed was the one who had to face ‘The Eagle’s’ anger. Recently, a UFC insider revealed how particular Khabib is about his training camp. The snippet from the interview proves why everyone admires and gets intimidated by Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In the latest episode, with Red Corner, Eric Nicksick, who is a MMA coach and former college football player, described how the Hall of Famer keeps his circle tight. He is very particular about who trains with him in his gym and he is specific about who must be invited, and who will not be getting an invitation. Unfortunately, ‘Remember, the Name’ did not remember this particular rule and got the legend upset.

Nicksick narrated the story and said, “What is funny is that Belal Muhammad brought a guest who was not cleared by Khabib and then, like Khabib, was not happy about it. It just kind of made me realize that I sometimes open my doors too much to a lot of people you know to come and train. That they don’t get vetted through the system. That stood out to me how he handled that situation.”

He also mentioned that ‘The Eagle’ was not outright lashing out at his pupil, but the ambiance in the room, and his voice made it apparent that he was upset. It seemed like the former undefeated, lightweight champ was joking, but he wasn’t. The MMA coach added, “It was kind of like you could feel like he was joking, but he wasn’t. He was serious about it and Belal was like, ‘Ohh dude I’m so sorry.’ You know and he goes ‘I don’t know who this guy is.'”

Eric Nicksick continued, “The best part is that Khabib and I are sitting here and he looks at me and he’s like ‘Yeah Eric are you going to let a guy in your gym that you don’t know? Maybe he is fighting one of your guys.’ Just kind of like punching Belal in front of everybody it was funny. But obviously, you know Khabib Let the guy continue to train. But there was a process to that that I felt was important”

Muhammad had patiently waited for his turn to become a champion. This time, it was a rematch between him and Leon Edwards. In the previous match, it was a no-contest, because Edwards had received an accidental eye poke from his opponent. Since then, the 36-year-old has had five consecutive victories, and his wrestling skills have improved exponentially. He even thanked Khabib while Dana White also decided to credit ‘The Eagle’.

”It was not a barnburner… I know Belal’s been training with Khabib, so his performance was what you would expect,” White had said during the UFC 304 post-match presentation. However, the 29-0 fighter denied any credit and stayed humble. Nonetheless, when it comes to the people who are invited to his gym, he is not so humble, and he’s pretty strict.
