Alex Pereira was last seen inside the Octagon at UFC 295 when he won the vacant light heavyweight title against Jiri Prochazka. Since then, the champion has been waiting for his return and finally got his opportunity at UFC 300. However, it now seems that ‘Poatan’ is hungry for more. UFC 301 is scheduled to take place in Brazil and he wants to feature in it as well. Thomson, in his recent episode of the Weighing In podcast, shared the details of the entire agreement.

He said, “I also heard that what’s his name gets out of Jamal UFC 300 that he wants to be on that card Alex Pereira. I guess apparently that was the part of his contract negotiation if he gets the win and comes out healthy that he’s allowed to fight on that fight card. That was apparently part of his agreement to fighting on 300. So we’ll see.”
