In the realm of sports and controversy, few figures are as vocal and opinionated as UFC commentator and JRE host Joe Rogan. He’s never hesitated to share his thoughts on contentious subjects. Likewise, the debate around transgender athletes in women’s sports is no exception. The 56-year-old has consistently made his stance clear: he’s not a supporter of biological males competing in biological female competitions.

Now, Dana White, the CEO of the UFC and a close friend of Joe Rogan, has entered the conversation with intriguing statements. It appears that White shares a similar viewpoint to Rogan on this contentious issue. In a recent interview, he used his own daughter as an example to underscore his position. So, what exactly did Dana White have to say about this growing and unconventional trend?

UFC CEO Dana White recently sat down with Piers Morgan for a feature on Piers Morgan Uncensored. White left no room for ambiguity about his stance on the participation of transgender athletes in women’s sports. Morgan raised the topic, stating, “We’re in a very strange place at the moment in sports where biological males are beginning to dominate biological females in women’s sports because they identify as women. What do you think about that?”

“I think you know exactly what I think of that,” White replied. He went on to emphasize the personal aspect of his perspective, saying, “Let me put it to you this way. I have a daughter, okay? And I don’t ever want to see a day where somebody who is a biological male is competing against my daughter. So, yeah – no, I think it’s another nutty – insane thing that’s happening in the world today. We’re all trying to deal with [it]. I’m just glad there’s no [such competitor] – my daughter’s a cheerleader, so she’s not playing any competitive sports. But, you know it hasn’t happened in the cheer[cheerleading] world yet.”

Dana White’s candid remarks shed light on his deep concerns about the issue of transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. This adds a personal dimension to this ongoing debate within the sports world. However, this is not the first time that a UFC top gun has taken shots at this controversial shift in trend. Here’s an account of Joe Rogan’s dissatisfaction on the same issue, which dates back to a couple of months ago, when he spoke to Hip-hop icon Ice Cube on the same matter.

How Dana White and his views echo his friend Joe Rogan’s arguments

UFC commentator Joe Rogan hosted Ice Cube for JRE’s #2004 episode. In this JRE discussion, he did not hold back in criticizing what he views as “forced compliance” with the inclusion of transgender athletes in women’s sports. He revisited the issue, initially referencing the widely criticized Bud Light advertising campaign featuring transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, which resulted in a staggering $20 billion loss in market capitalization for Bud Light.

What’s more – Rogan drew a parallel between the Bud Light campaign and what he perceives as the “forced compliance” of transgender athletes competing against biological women. He pointed out, “Some organizations are pushing back against that. And some people are pushing back against the organizations that are pushing back against it, which to me is insane. Like if you care at all about biological women, you should be against that.”

Ice Cube chimed in asking: What if NBA superstar LeBron James decided to identify as a female? And what if he decided to join the women’s league? Rogan responded back, saying, “They wouldn’t be able to stop it if he just decided to say publicly, ‘I identify as a woman.‘” He argued that such a situation might be difficult to prevent if James publicly declared that he identified as a woman.
