What would happen if two MMA GOATS collide with one another? Two fighters who reign supreme in their domains, being the biggest names in the martial arts scenario. The UFC world heavyweight champion Jon Jones and BJJ great Gordon Ryan created a similar scenario since they were recently witnessed training together by the fans on social media.

Well, both gladiators were practicing a series of grappling techniques in a sparring session. In fact, it was Jones who posted the entire incident on Instagram, which was enough to attract UFC enthusiasts and martial arts stars, among whom was ‘Borz’ Khamzat Chimaev.

A grappling saga between Jon Jones and Gordon Ryan

The heavyweight champ, posted a clip on his Instagram handle that featured him with the intention of manhandling the BJJ great in a grappling session. By showcasing his grappling dexterity, Jones seemed to try his skills on Ryan. Additionally, the video had a caption that stated, “Let the good times roll.”

The video clearly demonstrated that both  the legends were more than willing to exhibit their grappling techniques. Jones’s participation in the grappling scenario, being a rarity, made the show even more special. In fact, as they exchanged grappling salvos, both fighters’ aura undeniably captivated not only the fans but also intrigued the likes of #12 UFC lightweight sensation Jalin Turner and even the undefeated Khamzat Chimaev.

How gripping was the clip in the eyes of the fans?

The majority of viewers appeared to be enthralled by the post, possibly because they were happy to watch two of the greatest players square off against each other. Even UFC lightweight sensation Jalin Turner and triumphant middleweight Khamzat Chimaev noticed the clip. While Turner wrote, “That’s what’s up!”, Chimaev reacted by commenting on the emojis of two gold medals, which might have been used to shed light on the glory of both the greats. However, the fans had plenty to express.
