Former UFC interim title challenger Kevin Lee has announced that he will be now officially fighting under Eagle FC. The promotion is the venture of now-retired UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. This news comes after Lee was unexpectedly released from the UFC after losing four of his last five fights in the organization.
Kevin Lee will be making his #EagleFC debut on March 11. He's planning to relocate to Miami, which is the home base for Eagle FC in the United States.

Kevin Lee has had a bumpy ride in the UFC, losing his debut fight in the promotion to Al Iaquinta. However, he picked up the pace from there and made his way to a title fight against Tony Ferguson for the belt. The fight went well for ‘The Motown Phenom’ initially. However, Ferguson took over in the later rounds, submitting Lee in the third via triangle choke.
After he lost the biggest fight of his life, Lee went 2-4. Whilst he beat the likes of Gregor Gillespie and Edson Barboza, he lost to Charles Oliveira and Daniel Rodriguez before getting cut from the promotion.
