Colby Covington faced one of the most disappointing defeats of his life at UFC Tampa when he faced Joaquin Buckley. While Covington was pretty chaotic with his words, it was ‘New Mansa’ who brought all the chaos inside the cage. Buckley made a bloody mess of Covington’s face and the fight was stopped via a technical knockout. Every single fight fan was left in worry as Covington insisted that the fight was stopped prematurely and could have still continued. But now, things seem to have changed and Covington began indulging in promoting sportsbooks.

You read that right! ‘Chaos’ took to Instagram on Christmas Eve and shared an early present with his fans. In a video, he appeared in a Christmas setting and said, “Greetings, nerds and virgins! America’s champ is back with America’s pick of the week, brought to you by the undisputed king of the online sportsbook BC Game. We have 2 big NFL games going down on Christmas day and you came to the right place for some winners. We’re taking the Pittsburgh Steelers +3 over the Chiefs, and we’re laying 5 and half points against the Ravens over the Texans. Head over to BC Game and make your bank account great again.”

From MMA to NFL, Covington was really venturing out in a pretty wide arc. But one thing that surprised the fighting community was his champion’s attitude despite his disappointing defeat. He tried to beam his confidence through the video, apparently looking forward to a return. But that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon, because the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation handed him a 45-day suspension owing to his injuries. Nevertheless, the energy ‘Chaos’ had in the Instagram video was commendable.
