UFC star Dan Hooker and his preoccupation with USADA doesn’t seem to end in the foreseeable future. The lightweight fighter again minced a statement against the organization tasked with keeping a check on the athletes. Jumping on former UFC champion Israel Adesanya’s bandwagon, ‘The Hangman’ added another row of jibes directed against USADA. The New Zealander, who first came with all guns blazing and accused the division champion Islam Makhachev of cheating, recently accused the supervising body of mistreatment. While his fellow compatriot advocated for more stringent procedures, this afforded a window for him to land a cheeky jibe.

Notably, the 33-year-old fighter, who is at odds with USADA, took to his Twitter handle as he voiced his opinion about the organization. He called it a figurative entity and hinted at its inactivity. However, MMA fans saw the comment in a different spectrum, which led to the backlash against him.

While some fans bashed #11 ranked lightweight for his statement, others reminded him of his previous loss against Islam Makhachev.

Markedly, in a recent conversation, the 22-12 record holder admitted the USADA treated him differently and intimidated him to keep his mouth shut.
