“I’m Offended…”: UFC Veteran Reacts to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s Controversial Post

Former UFC fighter Jake Shields is still closely following Elon Musk on Twitter. The 43-year-old has been a keen observer of Musk’s Twitter activities for a while and often gives his own commentary on the same. However, Shields does not restrict his commentary to the bird app CEO. The five-time MMA world champion also comments on other relevant contemporary topics as well.

Recently, Musk shared a meme that was an overt political jibe. Now, Shields has a response that supports that jibe and adds to the insult. Both Musk and Shields have openly taken shots are liberals before. Their recent tweets only add to the list.

Jake Shields responds to Elon Musk’s tweet

Elon Musk shared a controversial meme that stereotyped liberals. In the meme, the entity on the left was telling the one on the right that they had been brainwashed.

The irony of the meme lay in the fact the entity on the left wore several labels that represented the covid vaccine, LGBTQIA+ flags, popular social media platforms’ logos, and leftist political views among other things.

The entity on the right simply held an American flag and was label-free. It responded to the former by saying “Really?”. In his caption to the post, Musk wrote, “I’m not brainwashed.”

In his response to the meme, Shields wrote, “I’m offended this meme does not have a Ukrainian flag.” With the comment, Shields took his own shot at liberal leftists who support the causes represented by the labels in the meme.

Evidently, neither Musk nor Shields is a fan of leftist liberals and their views on several subjects. The Team Diaz member also had a similar response when Musk reinstated Donald Trump on Twitter.

What Shields said about Trump being back on Twitter

Twitter showed Trump the way out in January 2021 following his comments on the Capitol Riots. However, Musk decided to reinstate him after the $44 billion takeover of the bird app. Shields was following the situation closely and commented on it without fail.

“I’m not even a Trump supporter but can’t wait to enjoy all the meltdowns when he starts tweeting again,” wrote Shields. He also followed Trump on Twitter and pointed out a glitch that unfollowed him from the former POTUS several times.
