Conor McGregor is ‘too slick’ for Michael Chandler
‘The Notorious’ recently appeared on the ‘Mom’s Basement’ podcast with Robbie Fox. He was asked how he thought the fight with Michael Chandler would go down. McGregor said, “For [Michael] Chandler, I’m just too slick, too skilled and he’s never fought someone like me. I have fought someone like him, though.” He added, “It’s the mixed martial arts style, the short wrestler, it’s just (that) kind of MMA.”

“There is nothing peculiar (or that I’m) unsure of. I have fought against that self for many, many years.” However, McGregor believes that Michael Chandler has earned his position and status in the MMA world. “Michael obviously was with a smaller promotion and then he walked his way up his fights. He’s had some excellent fights, and he’s earned his right to be in this position,” said McGregor.
But the Irishman claims that he will show Michael Chandler the level he is in, on fight night. He said, “It will be my job on fight night to show the levels and show that there is a much higher difference in skill level here and that’s it.”
