He uploaded a video where he explained the reason for his staying away from all social media. He said, “Looking forward to fight against Dricus in July. It’s going to be a hard fight that’s why I’m putting in those ideas, putting in those hard work…“

He further detailed what he is up to, he added, “I’m just filling up the gas tank. Filling up the gas tank… Getting stronger as you can see, look at these (flexing biceps). Being stronger and yeah that’s pretty much it. I’m just enjoying the process… looking forward to getting in there. So thank you, July 8th. Me and Dricus getting at it.” Whittaker’s update has made fans much more excited. The MMA community is waiting patiently to see the clash between the two middleweight stars.
